It started with a red ruby.
Ruth, a gemologist, was advising a client named Sarah on a deep red ruby when Thomas noticed something unexpected. On her, the ruby felt unmistakably right — vivid, confident, full of presence. But her fragrance seemed to blur everything the stone brought forward. The ruby expressed her. The scent didn't.
That contrast sparked a question: What if fragrance could express how you want to show up, just as color does?
Ruth & Thomas began imagining perfume differently — not notes first, but presence. Color would set the direction, gemstones the inspiration, and scent would give that feeling a form on the skin.
That red ruby inspired their first creation, Ruby Rouge, and became the starting point of GGEMA. Choose your presence. Wear it.
