Article 1 - Purpose

The present general conditions of sale have for object, on the one hand, to inform any possible consumer on the conditions and modalities in which the salesman ("GGEMA PARIS") proceeds to the sale and to the delivery of the ordered products and, on the other hand, to define the rights and obligations of the parts within the framework of the sale of products by GGEMA PARIS to the consumer ("the Purchaser"). They apply, without restriction or reserve, to all sales, products offered by GGEMA PARIS on its website ggema.com

(hereinafter the "Site").

Consequently, the fact that any person orders a product offered for sale on the Website of GGEMA PARIS implies full acceptance of these general conditions of sale which the Buyer acknowledges having read prior to ordering.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, Buyer and GGEMA PARIS are individually or collectively referred to as the Party or Parties.

The Buyer, prior to his order, declares that :

  • the purchase of products on the GGEMA PARIS Website is not directly related to a professional activity and is limited to a strictly personal use;
  • have full legal capacity, allowing him to commit himself under these general conditions of sale.


GGEMA PARIS sells the products on its Website only at retail level and to final consumers. Any order that does not clearly correspond to a retail sale and, more generally, any order that is fraudulent or presumed to be fraudulent, will be considered by GGEMA PARIS as null and void.

GGEMA PARIS reserves the right to modify at any time the present general conditions of sale. Nevertheless, the General Conditions of Sale applicable to the order placed by a Buyer on the Site of GGEMA PARIS are those accepted by the Buyer at the time of placing such an order.

Article 3 - Formation of the contract and orders

3.1 Rates

The selling prices of products online on the Website of GGEMA PARIS, indicated in euros, are those in force at the time of registration of the order form by the Buyer. The selling prices of products can be modified by GGEMA PARIS at any time. This change will be reported to the Buyer before any order.

The shipping costs will be indicated before the registration of the order by the Buyer.

For some destinations, shipping is free

Prices include the French value added tax (VAT) or that of the country of destination applicable on the date of the order and any change in the applicable rate will automatically be reflected in the price of products sold by GGEMA PARIS on its Website.

3.2 Product characteristics

In accordance with Article L. 111-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Buyer may, prior to placing an order, review the essential characteristics of the product(s) he/she wishes to order on the GGEMA PARIS website.

The Buyer may select one or more products from the different categories offered on the GGEMA PARIS Website.

The offers presented by GGEMA PARIS are valid while stocks last.

GGEMA PARIS may modify the range of products offered for sale on its Website, without prejudice to orders placed by the Buyer.

3.3 Ordering

Any order implies acceptance of these general terms and conditions of sale, without prejudice to specific contractual conditions concluded between the Parties.

The Buyer has the possibility to check the details of his order project and to correct possible errors. From the moment the Buyer confirms his order by clicking on the "Validate" icon, he is considered to have accepted with full knowledge of the present general conditions of sale, the prices, volumes and quantities of the products offered for sale and ordered by the Buyer.

The order validated by the Buyer will be confirmed by GGEMA PARIS. The sale will be considered final after the provision of this order confirmation to the Buyer by GGEMA PARIS and receipt by it of the full price.

GGEMA PARIS recommends that the Buyer keep the information contained in the order confirmation sent by GGEMA PARIS on a paper or computer document.

Article 4 - Payment

Payment must be made when ordering online by the Buyer. At no time, the sums paid can be considered as deposits or down payments. All orders are payable in euros, including all taxes and compulsory contributions.

To pay his order, the Buyer has the following payment methods: credit card and Paypal account or deferred payment through our partner KLARNA.

The following credit cards are accepted on the GGEMA PARIS website: Carte Bleue, Visa, American Express, Master Card.

The vouchers obtained in stores are not valid on the GGEMA PARIS website.

The Buyer guarantees to GGEMA PARIS that he/she has the necessary authorizations to use the method of payment that he/she has chosen for his/her order, when registering his/her order form.

GGEMA PARIS reserves the right to suspend or cancel any execution of an order and/or delivery, whatever its nature and level of execution, in the event of non-payment or partial payment of any sum due by the Buyer, in the event of a payment incident, or in the event of fraud or attempted fraud relating to the use of the GGEMA PARIS Website.

Penalties of an amount equal to the legal interest rate increased by five points are automatically applicable to unpaid amounts at the end of a period of ten days following the date of payment or upon notification of the rejection of bank payment for any other means of payment. The delivery of any new order may be suspended in case of late payment or partial payment of a previous order, notwithstanding the provisions hereof.

GGEMA PARIS reserves the right to request a photocopy of the identity card and/or bank card (front only) of the Buyer for any payment by bank card.

As part of the fight against Internet fraud, information relating to your order may be transmitted to any third party authorized by law or designated by GGEMA PARIS for the sole purpose of verifying the identification of the Buyer, the validity of the order, the method of payment used and the intended delivery.

When necessary, in order to ensure the security of payment by credit card, the Buyer must transmit to the online payment organization chosen by GGEMA PARIS the visual cryptogram (CVV) appearing on the back of the credit card used by the Buyer.

GGEMA PARIS uses the secure payment tools Shopify Payments and Paypal in such a way that the information transmitted is encrypted by a software and that no third party can become aware of it during the transport on the network. The security of the payment is based on the authentication of the Buyer, and on the confidentiality of all data. To ensure this security Shopify Payments and Paypal use proven cryptographic techniques and comply with various banking regulations.

Article 5 - Delivery and reception

5.1 Terms of delivery

1.1 General rules

Products ordered by the Buyer will be delivered to the delivery address indicated by the Buyer on the order.

By default, purchase invoices are sent by e-mail to the e-mail address indicated by the Buyer when registering on the GGEMA PARIS Website.

If the contractual conditions described below are not respected, no claim from the Buyer will be accepted.

1.2 Delivery characteristics

Upon delivery, a delivery slip or acknowledgement of receipt must be signed by the Buyer or the recipient of the ordered products. In case of absence, the Buyer or the recipient of the order will receive a notification allowing him/her to either reschedule the delivery or to have it delivered to a relay point or to a neighbor/guardian.

The Buyer or the recipient of the ordered products is invited to verify the apparent state of the products upon delivery.

In the presence of apparent anomaly (damage, missing product compared to the delivery order, damaged or broken package or product, etc.) noted during the delivery in the presence of the employee of the transport company, the Purchaser or the recipient of the ordered products is required to report the damage or shortcomings noted and by formulating all claims and reserves and to refuse the delivery by immediately issuing a statement of anomaly to the employee of the transport company.

The Purchaser or the recipient of the ordered products has a period of 3 clear days from the receipt of the order to notify the carrier, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, any incident relating to the condition or content of the package delivered. He is also invited to report the problem encountered to GGEMA PARIS by immediately sending an email to the customer service of GGEMA PARIS: contact@ggemaparis.com

5.2 Delivery times

For any order confirmed from Monday to Friday (excluding holidays) before 1:00 pm on the GGEMA PARIS website, the preparation of the order will take place the same day, subject to availability.

The delivery times following validation of your order, are variable according to the countries:

  • DHL EXPRESS : less than or equal to 5 working days

In case of exceeding these deadlines exceeding 7 days and not due to a case of force majeure, the Buyer will have the opportunity to cancel his order by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt addressed to GGEMA PARIS - Service annulation - 5 rue Quentin Bauchart 75008 Paris - France or by email: contact@ggema.com GGEMA PARIS will then proceed to an investigation with the carrier concerned prior to the reimbursement of the undelivered ordered products.

The Buyer may exercise this option to cancel his order for failure to deliver within the contractual period, within a maximum period of sixty working days from the exceeding of the maximum period indicated for the delivery of products. The totality of the sums paid by the Purchaser will then be restored to him if the entirety of the order is returned, in the form of a credit note or refund, at the choice of the Purchaser, as soon as possible and at the latest within thirty days following the date on which the Purchaser exercised his right to obtain the cancellation of his order.

Article 6 - Right and period of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code, the Buyer has a period of 14 (fourteen) clear days from the date of receipt of his order by himself or by the recipient of the order, to return at its expense the entirety of his order and obtain, at the option of the Buyer the exchange of products, or a credit note or refund corresponding to the amount of his order.

The products must be returned to GGEMA PARIS according to one of the procedures described in Article 7 - below.

Article 7 - Return of products

The delivered products can be returned by the Purchaser to GGEMA PARIS under the conditions and according to the instructions detailed below. The products must be returned to GGEMA PARIS in perfect condition for resale or in their original condition (packaging, accessories, instructions ...)

7.1 Return by parcel or by mail

GGEMA PARIS accepts the return by parcel or by mail of any item purchased on ggema.com if it is returned to GGEMA PARIS within 3 (three) months from the date of receipt of the order by the Purchaser.

The shipping costs of the return package remain the responsibility of the Buyer, except in case of lack of conformity of the delivered products with the order.

In case of exchange of product(s), the costs related to a new delivery of products are charged to the Buyer.

To return a product, the Buyer must follow the following instructions:

  • 1. Use the original packaging to return the product(s).
  • 2. Send the package by registered mail with return receipt to the following address

GGEMA PARIS does not accept packages sent by postage due. Any risk related to the return of the product is the responsibility of the Buyer.

Article 8 - Reservation of ownership

GGEMA PARIS retains full ownership of the products sold until full payment of the full price, in principal, fees, taxes and mandatory contributions included.

Article 9 - Liability

GGEMA PARIS cannot be held responsible for any indirect damage that may arise from the purchase of products. Similarly, the responsibility of GGEMA PARIS under the obligations of these Terms of Sale can not be held liable in case of occurrence of an event of force majeure as defined by the French courts.

Article 10 - Partial invalidity

If one or more stipulations of the present general conditions of sale are held to be invalid or declared as such in application of a law, a regulation or following a definitive decision of a competent jurisdiction, the other stipulations will keep all their force and their scope.

Article 11 - Non-Waiver

The fact that one of the parties does not avail itself of a breach of any of the obligations referred to in these general conditions of sale shall not be interpreted for the future as a waiver of the obligation in question.

Article 12 - Applicable law and competent jurisdiction

The sales of products of the company GGEMA PARIS are subject to French law. Any dispute relating to the existence, interpretation, performance or breach of contract between GGEMA PARIS and the Buyer, even in case of multiple defendants, will, in the absence of amicable agreement, the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Paris.

Article 13 - Data processing and liberties

The personal data collected by GGEMA PARIS during any order of the Buyer are necessary for the management of his order by GGEMA PARIS and its providers and may be used, subject to the rights exercised by the person concerned, in order to inform him of the products or services provided by GGEMA PARIS and / or by its business partners

In accordance with the law "Informatique et Libertés" n° 78-17 of January 6, 1978 modified, the Purchaser and the recipient of an order have a right to access and rectify or delete data concerning them processed by GGEMA PARIS, as well as the right to oppose the processing of these data for direct commercial prospecting. By default, these rights can be exercised with GGEMA PARIS by mail addressed to the Customer Service of GGEMA PARIS - 5 rue Quentin Bauchart 75008 Paris - France or by email: contact@ggemaparis.com or via the Contact Us section of the GGEMA PARIS website.

By placing an order with GGEMA PARIS, the Buyer can also be informed of GGEMA PARIS' offers by e-mail, unless he/she objects. Three types of emails can be sent

  • newsletters;
  • event-driven emails;
  • personalized email offers


If the Buyer no longer wishes to receive these information messages, he/she may inform GGEMA PARIS at any time by mail addressed to the Customer Service of GGEMA PARIS - 5 rue Quentin Bauchart 75008 Paris - FranceParis or by email: contact@ggema.com, or via the Contact Us section of the GGEMA PARIS website, or via the unsubscribe link contained at the bottom of each email sent by GGEMA PARIS. In case of problem encountered on this subject, the Buyer can contact the customer service of GGEMA PARIS.
